The line goes &#8220;Corsica, Napoleon, Austria, Hitler, Poland, the last pope, Albania, no idea.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>This just goes to highlight my total ignorance of Corsica outside of Napoleon spending time there in exile, and what I read in an Asterix comic book.<\/p>\n<p>But I visited Calvi in October of 2010. I didn&#8217;t learn anything new, except that it&#8217;s quite beautiful. The tourist season was already over, and most of the town was shut down, but I had a pleasant walk.
