Hypnosis shows without hypnosis.<br \/>\nSurround yourself with funny.<br \/>\nThe comedy mind is a muscle.<br \/>\nTell jokes because YOU want to, even if the audience doesn&#8217;t understand.<br \/>\nThe audience is more important than your ego.<br \/>\nGiving variety to the audience is more important than showing your  juggling wang.<br \/>\nThe permission to be funny AND do technical juggling, not instead of.<br \/>\nMagicians describing what they do is redundant.<br \/>\nMagicians and jugglers use their skill as growing up as a substitute for social skills.<br \/>\nTributes to other comedians\u2026 or just ripping off their jokes?<br \/>\nTen hours of new material in ten years\u2026 can it be all A-grade?<br \/>\nSometimes you want to see the greatest hits!<br \/>\nAdmiring comedians for doing clean material about well-trod topics.<br \/>\nChallenge: be funny with no props!<br \/>\nNo comedy subject should be out of bounds.<br \/>\nInspiration from bad examples.<br \/>\nLuke rants about dishonest, stale comedians.<br \/>\nI want to be compared to the best, and I want to be the worst person on stage!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>In this episode I talk to a fellow juggler and entertainer John Nations.
