This morning I started making my Mindhurst model. It was quite a good likeness, but I accidentally started stabbing pins into the eyes and hands, then I dropped it onto the lit gas cooker. It’s a good job I don’t believe in voodoo or anything. Ha ha.

I tried to let go of Rennie again. No matter how high I threw him into the air he would always come back and land on my hand again. This got me thinking...

I went inside and picked up four beanbags. I held two in each hand and set Rennie on top of one of them. I threw the little bird high into the air and managed to juggle for ages before he landed on my hand again. I think I did better than this: Z444444444444444444444444444444444444 which is the longest notation I can think of if Z=36.

It must be some kind of a siteswap record.

This evening I went to work again. Carol smiled at me. I really think I’ve got a chance here.

Lots of people came in tonight. Carol said it was busier then normal. It seems that lots of people heard that there was a new guy working who was quite a dab hand at juggling. Lots of people were crowding the bar and ordering drinks just to see me swing a few bottles around. I didn’t even do the old “throwing the empty glass and full bottle and catching the full glass and empty bottle” trick.

I don’t want to nurture visions of grandeur but I think I’m becoming a minor celebrity. I might even ask for a pay rise but I might wait for the novelty of the whole situation to wear of first.

I didn’t see my cousin there this evening.

At the end of the evening I walked Carol home and we stopped on her on her door step. I was going to ask myself in but she kissed me on the lips, said good night and let herself in.

I had to stop myself from skipping back home. When I finally got back home I started thinking again. I hoped she hadn’t wanted me to knock on her door. I felt a bit stupid for passing up the chance but then congratulated myself on playing hard to get.

I looked on the Internet at the NJA website to see if there was any new picture from the recent convention in Norway. There wasn’t any.

Ah well.
