BJC2k Gallery - the parade and games

Now for the proof that I am a very very stupid person:

I left on the bus for the city center with my camcorder but I had just put a full battery on charge and took the flat one out with me.
So instead of getting a whole load of footage of the games and the parade, all I got was 1 second snippets of footage I could just about catch before my camcorder switched itself off.

Ah well. I enjoyed myself though. I took part in most of the games.

And I won the stredging competion. Does that mean I'm the World Champion?
I can't remember the guy who I competed with, though. That was the first time he had even come across the game... shows the high skill level involved, eh?

All photos on this and other pages are owned by me (Luke Burrage) and that means they're mine. I got the ©.
If you want to use these photos in any way email me and it'll be fine, as long as you're not making money from them or anything. And I get credited for them.

Well, here we go...

At the start of the parade.

This was the band that walked at the front and hit things.

The parade passed York Minster.

The brass band nearer the back of the parade.

This is one of the few shots I got of the games (I seem to have lost the other ones).

Gandini Gladiators. The guy with the red hair won but was the disqualified.

As you see, by this time it had started raining and we all headed back to the buses. The wasn't even a big toss up, if there was, I missed it.
