Juliane had to do a improvisational music piece for the music teaching part of her university degree. She invited me to take part and do some juggling, and help out while she was “inside” the piano.
The rules:
1. 8 minutes. 4 with Juliane at the keys and 4 “inside” the piano.
2. No use of tonal chords or structured melody.
3. An overall structure and form, but still all the music improvised.
This video is pieced together from footage from our final rehearsal before the exam. The exam was today. The examiners awards Juliane a 1.0, which is the highest grade possible!
